Your data privacy is fundamental to us. This Privacy Policy transparently describes how the Vexel Studio Pro extension collects, uses, stores, and protects the information captured during the use of our services.

1. Explicit Data Collection

To provide automatic demo recording and creation functionality, our extension requires access to certain data from your device and browser. We collect the following types of data:

🎥 Screen and Navigation Data (DOM)

We use technology to capture interactions in the active browser tab. This includes:

HTML structure and CSS of the visited page (Mutations).
Mouse movements and clicks.
Page Assets: Images, fonts, and stylesheets found on the page are downloaded and re-hosted to ensure playback fidelity.

🎙️ User Audio and Video

With your explicit permission, we collect:

Microphone Audio: Captured via navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia for narration.
Webcam Video: Captured to include your image in the final video (optional).
Speech Transcripts: Audio is processed via Speech Recognition to generate subtitles and captions.

👤 Account Data

For authentication and library management, we use Google Identity services to collect:

Email address.
Authentication token.

2. Data Transmission and Storage

The collected data does not remain only on your local computer. It is transmitted and processed in our cloud infrastructure to generate the final videos.

Destination: Recording data (DOM, audio, video, extracted assets) is sent to our secure servers hosted on the Google Cloud Platform (vexel-api-*.run.app).
Purpose of Transmission: Transmission is strictly necessary for video processing, smart zoom application, and 4K rendering, which occurs on our high-performance servers.
Security: All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols (HTTPS).

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or recordings with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with our infrastructure providers (such as Google Cloud) strictly for service execution.

4. Your Rights

You have full control over your recordings. Through the extension panel, you can:

View all uploaded recordings.
Permanently delete any recording from our servers.
Revoke camera and microphone access permissions at any time via browser settings.
